MASON K. YU, Chief Executive Officer and Inventor Mason K. Yu, Sr., is Inventor of CYEs two principal U.S. patents, U.S. Patent No. 5,433,483 issued July 1995, Automated Budget Checking, and U.S. Patent No. 5,748,908, issued in June 1998, Automated Classified Expenditure Data Card Recording System. Corresponding Canadian patents for ABC and ABCC were issued in 1995 and 1998 under Canadian Patent number 2,146,847 and 2,211,871, respectively. Prior to becoming the Founder of CYE, Mason Yu was Senior Staff Engineer and Scientist at General Motors Corporation (GMC) Tech Laboratories. During his 38-year tenure at GMC, he was awarded 13 U.S. Patents, which were assigned to GMC. One of these U.S. Patents was implemented across six GMC engine lines (Cadillac Northstar, Chevrolet Corvette, GMC Truck, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac), which produced an extra 3,500,000 horsepower without increasing emissions, and singularly reduced production and design costs of over $8,000,000 during a three year period. Mason, Sr. received the prestigious Charles F. "Boss" Kettering Award, reserved only for staff making the highest contributions to GMC. Over the past 20 years, Mason, Sr. has been Real Estate Developer and Builder for Chen-Yu Construction of Birmingham, Michigan. Mason, Sr. received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1952 and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1950 from the University of Michigan. GRACE CHEN YU, President Grace C. Yu is in charge of worldwide strategic planning for CYE products and services. Ms. Grace Yu is lead negotiator for patent licensing. She has 15 years experience in real estate development, including the Interior Designer and Landscape Architect for two premier townhouse condominiums in downtown Birmingham, Michigan. She is Educator and Founder of Chinese Language School of Oakland County Michigan. Ms. Grace Yu was awarded her Bachelor of Business Administration from New York University in 1950. GREGORY J. YU, JD, CPA, Marketing Director and Chief Legal Officer Gregory J. Yu handles all legal matters for CYE, including strategic alliances, intellectual property protection and commercialization, internal corporate matters, and other legal consequences of business transactions. He also handles market development in the Western Region of the U.S. He is Founder and Principal of Global Law Group in Burlingame, California, and handles all primary legal matters for emerging companies in the semiconductor, Internet, software and biotechnology fields. He has expertise in technology licensing, financing, securities offerings and merger and acquisition transactions. He was previously associated with Fenwick & West in Palo Alto, California and with Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York City. Mr. Gregory Yu has worked with clients including Cadence Design Systems, Inc., Oracle Corporation, @Home Network, GE Venture Capital Corporation, Lorimar-Telepictures Corporation (prior to its acquisition by Warner Communications), Fidelity Investments (in offshore offerings), Hanson Trust plc, and the Republic of Argentina in its Refinancing Program with the Creditors Committee of international banks. Mr. Gregory Yu is admitted in California and New York. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1984 and was a member of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. In 1978, he was awarded his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and then practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with BDO Seidman International. MASON K. YU, JR., Chief Technology Officer and Marketing DirectorEastern Mason K. Yu, Jr. is the Systems Architect for the implementation of the family of ABC, ABCC, and ABCCC patents. He designs, develops and maintains all CYE software and telecommunication demos and is technical interface with all outside licensees and strategic partners. Internally, Mason, Jr. acts as Systems Administrator for the CYE network, database storage and telecommunications facilities. He also is Marketing Director for the Eastern Region of the United States. Separately, he is President and Founder of Super Highway Company, Inc. which focuses on Systems Development and Design of Computer Hardware and Computer Software Integration. As a Systems Consultant, he has over 20 years of experience in Custom Software Development, LAN/WAN Design and Database Systems Design, Processing Technology. Corporate clients include major New York financial institutions, such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Merrill Lynch Brokerage, AT&T Information Systems, and Salomon Brothers. Mason, Jr. received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1982, and his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Wayne State University in 1975 and 1979, respectively. BENNETT W. YU, M.D., Chief Creative Director and Marketing Director- Central Bennett W. Yu, is principally in charge of product brand management, promotional strategic planning, and marketing design. Bennett Yu, is also responsible for development of CYE clientele in the Central Region of the United States. Dr. Yu has been a senior staff oncologist at Henry Ford Hospital since 1994. Dr. Yu is also Director of Oncology Research Lab. Dr. Yu previously worked in cancer and hematology research at Albany Medical Center, the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health, the Naval Medical Onocology Branch of the National Naval Medical Center, Bethseda, Maryland. Dr. Yu was awarded his M.D. from the University of Michigan in 1981, and his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Michigan in 1977. He has published articles in national peer review journals in cancer research. STEPHANIE CHEN YU, Director of Public Relations Stephanie Chen Yu is in charge of CYE public relations and media interface. She was nominated twice for an Emmy Award in 1990 and 1992 for her work on 3-2-1 Contact broadcast nationally for Public Broadcasting System, and has received several acting awards. Stephanie also headed two student acting companies, Renaissance Repertory Company and Technicolor Dreams in New York City. Stephanie was a guest on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and has appeared in Life and People magazines. Stephanie has attended the New York Performing Arts High School and New York University. Currently, Stephanie is a specialist with Merrill Lynch Tax Reporting Services in New Jersey and is working toward her MBA in Management Information Systems at Rutgers University. The late VIVIAN YU LEE, Patents and Contracts Administrator Vivian Yu Lee oversaw administration of contracts and license agreements for CYE. She was also in charge of drafting and filing U.S. patents and trademarks for CYE, and legal research. She was Legal Assistant for Chen-Yu Construction of Birmingham, Michigan, Kramer Mellen of Southfield, Michigan, and Miro Miro Weiner of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She also received ABA Legal Assistant Certification. Ms. Lee was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Administration from University of Detroit Mercy in 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. AMY YU, Corporate Counsel Amy Yu serves as Corporate Counsel for all internal legal matters affecting CYE as headquartered in Michigan. She is sole practitioner of her own law firm in Farmington Hills, Michigan, specializing in litigation and family law. She is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. Amy was awarded her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Law School in 1997. Prior to her career as a lawyer, she received her Bachelor of Nursing magna cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1983 and worked as a Registered Nurse. |
